Sydney Water is seeking a hands on Production Officer Level 2 to operate and maintain water resource recovery facilities across the Hawkesbury hub including Brooklyn, West Hornsby, Hornsby Heights and Warriewood. The role emphasizes safe operation, environmental compliance, daily plant performance monitoring, and contributing to maintenance planning, with training provided. Ideal candidates hold a trade qualification (electrician, instrumentation or mechanical) or an engineering background, hold a current driver's license and own vehicle, and are willing to travel and work on a standby roster. What will you be doing?
As a Production Officer, you’ll play a key role in the safe operation and maintenance of water resource recovery assets and processes to meet Environmental Protection Licences whilst exceeding customer expectations and efficiency targets.
This position includes office and outdoor activities while working with a diverse group of employees. You will be offered formal and on-the-job training to skill you for the role
You will be reporting directly to the Production Manager, Lower Hawkesbury Hub, where you'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality water resource recovery services to local communities. The role will work at our sites across the Hub – namely Brooklyn, West Hornsby, Hornsby Heights and Warriewood.
