Webasto is seeking a Production Operator for the 1st shift (4 AM to 4 PM) in Lexington, KY to help operate a small number of machines, assemble components, monitor processes and quality and safety, following work instructions and 5S/TPM practices within a cross-functional, international environment that uses SAP and dashboards. You will escalate issues per procedures and contribute to continuous improvement. Ideal candidates are results-oriented team players with excellent attendance, high energy, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to be cross trained across processes and equipment. Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Operation of a small number of machines and workstations within a production line according to work instructions, including applicable Quality and HSE guidelines
• Removal of products from the machines - Assembly of components - Monitoring of processes, inspection of quality/safety characteristics
• Escalation of any detected concerns and problems (Quality and Safety) in line with escalation procedures
• Performing workstation 5S activities and total production maintenance (TPM) in line with standard operating procedures
• Involvement in continuous improvement process
