TE Connectivity is seeking a Production Operator II for a two year fixed term contract in Swindon to help transform raw materials into finished wire and cable products, perform changeovers and quality checks, and maintain strict documentation and housekeeping in line with EH&S policies. The role follows a rotating shift pattern with a 20% shift allowance, and requires you to read and follow manufacturing instructions, operate within Lean, quality and safety procedures, and communicate effectively with the team. TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Production Operator Wire & Cable
Swindon Shift Position:
- Week 1 Mon to Thurs 6am to 2pm and Friday 6am-12pm
- Week 2 Mon to Thurs 2pm to 10pm and Friday 12pm-6pm
Shift Allowance: 20%
- The ability to read and follow work instructions/ methods, manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
- An ability to conduct effective handovers to maintain workflow.
- Experience of working with Quality Management and Quality Productivity Systems.
