TE Connectivity is hiring a Production Operator II in Swindon for a full-time onsite role. You will contribute to turning raw materials into finished wire and cable products, perform changeovers and setups to the production schedule, carry out quality checks and document results, and keep your area tidy while following EH&S policies. The shift pattern operates on a two-week cycle with a 20% shift allowance. The ideal candidate reads and follows work instructions, delivers effective handovers, has experience with Lean Manufacturing and the Tyco Electronics Operating Advantage, Quality Management and Quality Productivity Systems, strong numeracy and literacy, a logical methodical approach, flexibility to learn new skills, basic IT skills and solid teamwork. Production Operator Wire & Cable
Swindon Shift Position:
- Week 1 Mon to Thurs 6am to 2pm and Friday 6am-12pm
- Week 2 Mon to Thurs 2pm to 10pm and Friday 12pm-6pm
Shift Allowance: 20%
- The ability to read and follow work instructions/ methods, manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
- An ability to conduct effective handovers to maintain workflow.
- Experience of working with Quality Management and Quality Productivity Systems.
- God numeracy and literacy skills.
