Webasto is seeking a Production Operator for Lexington on the 2nd shift (4 pm to 4 am, Mon to Fri). In this role you will operate a handful of machines on a production line, follow work instructions and Quality and HSE guidelines, assemble components, monitor processes, inspect quality and safety, and escalate concerns when needed. You will also perform 5S and TPM activities and contribute to continuous improvement in a cross functional international setting that uses SAP dashboards. The ideal candidate is a reliable, energetic team player with strong attention to detail and a willingness to cross train. Pay is 18.75 per hour plus shift premium with benefits. Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Operation of a small number of machines and workstations within a production line according to work instructions, including applicable Quality and HSE guidelines
• Removal of products from the machines - Assembly of components - Monitoring of processes, inspection of quality/safety characteristics
• Escalation of any detected concerns and problems (Quality and Safety) in line with escalation procedures
• Performing workstation 5S activities and total production maintenance (TPM) in line with standard operating procedures
• Involvement in continuous improvement process
