As Interim Production Planner Allium, you will work in a multifunctional team to create the optimal production plan within our global production network. Through data analysis, stakeholder collaboration and scenario planning, you help ensure that growers and customers worldwide have access to the right seeds at the right time.

Make a difference as Production Planner Allium (temporary)

As Interim Production Planner Allium, you coordinate the tactical seed production planning for allium crops based on market demand. Together with your team, you ensure that seed productions are allocated to the most suitable production locations worldwide, while also considering the optimal balance between price and quality. You take part in the monthly Seed Supply Team decision-making process and work closely with Crop Production teams, Supply Planners, Production Specialists and R&D colleagues to balance demand, production capacity, risks and opportunities. In this role, your work will include:

• Validating the proposed planning together with Production Specialists;
• Translating demand forecasts into capacity needs and production programmes for growers and producers;
• Managing operational planning activities, including volume adjustments, overproduction and production cancellations;
• Identifying bottlenecks, performing root cause analyses and preparing scenarios and improvement actions for Seed Supply Team meetings;
• Managing critical master data settings to ensure reliable and accurate planning outcomes;
• Monitoring planning performance using KPIs and contributing to the continuous improvement of planning processes and system setup.

As Interim Production Planner Allium, you enjoy working with data and complex planning challenges, using your analytical skills to find the best solutions. You are able to see the bigger picture without losing sight of the details and you can manage multiple priorities at the same time. You are proactive and feel at home in an international working environment. In addition, you have:

• A higher professional education or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agricultural Sciences, Engineering or a related field;
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in supply chain planning, production planning or seed operations;
• Experience with, or a strong affinity for, production planning processes and vegetable cultivation;
• Experience working with automated planning and ERP systems;
• A structured and independent way of working;
• Good communication skills and excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Dutch is an advantage.
