Oerlikon Metco (Canada) Inc. is looking for a Production Planner to join our Fort Saskatchewan team and play a critical role in delivering excellence across our operations.
What You’ll Do
As a Production Planner, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—connecting demand, production, and performance:
  • Develop and manage production plans to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets
  • Translate customer and market demand into efficient production schedules
  • Partner with operations, sales, and logistics teams to ensure alignment
  • Follow products through the production process, ensuring quality and yields are maintained and improved
  • Monitor production performance and proactively identify risks, gaps, and improvements
  • Maintain accurate data in systems like SAP and LIMS
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, process optimization)
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and drive corrective actions
What You Bring
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, the Sciences, or a related field
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with SAP (MM/PP)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and adapt in a dynamic environment
