Bombardier is seeking a Professional, Engineering, Completion, Cabinets/Periphery Integration in Québec, onsite, full time. In this role you will complete aircraft engineering datasets, drive change management, validate configurations to customer specs, organize design reviews, and coordinate governance with suppliers while defining technical specs and mechanical electrical interfaces and evaluating emerging concepts. The ideal candidate has a university degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, eight or more years of integration experience, and hands-on work with Enovia PLM and Catia V5; you are organized, project oriented, self motivated, and able to work under pressure as a team player with strong communication. What are your contributions to the team?

  • Complete Aircraft engineering dataset preliminary review
  • Participate in Change Management Process and incorporate changes into engineering deliverables.
  • Validate aircraft configuration to ensure the customer specifications are respected.
  • Organize and attend design reviews taking into consideration industry regulations, Bombardier Aerospace Design Practices and requirements.
  • Coordinate weekly engineering governance with supplier.
  • Define technical specifications as well as mechanical/electrical interfaces.
  • Resolve complex problems, design and evaluate new technical concepts or emerging technologies.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a University degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
  • You have at least 8 years of Integration experience.
  • You have experience in working with Enovia / Enovia PLM and Catia V5.
  • You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving.
  • You are well organized and are project oriented.
  • You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure.
  • You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
