Bombardier is seeking a Professional Engineer, Supplier Quality Assurance to lead supplier audits of special processes, evaluate manufacturing conformity, review lab reports, and plan supplier evaluations across programs while assessing supplier quality systems for AS9100. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering, 2+ years of aerospace supplier audits, strong problem solving and project management, and bilingual communication in French and English. Regular travel to suppliers is expected; Nadcap, ISO 9001 knowledge, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 are assets. What are your contributions to the team?
- Travel regularly to perform audits of special processes and Quality System at suppliers.
- Evaluate suppliers' conformity to manufacturing processes (special processes) requirements.
- Review laboratory test reports from suppliers in order to approve their manufacturing processes.
- Plan supplier evaluation activities in order to support all Bombardier programs.
- Evaluate suppliers' quality system for compliance to AS9100.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes deviations requested by suppliers.
- Actively participate and lead special projects to improve our internal business processes.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelor's degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering.
- You have knowledge of special processes for the manufacturing of aerospace metallic parts (heat treat, welding, shot peen, machining, assembly, chemical processing, corrosion protection).
- You have experience or expertise with composite materials.
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and project management abilities.
- You have a minimum of two (2+) years of relevant experience in supplier audits for Quality Management System and Special Processes in aerospace industries.
- You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) both in French and English.
- Experience interacting with suppliers is considered an asset.

Experience in auditing is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the Nadcap program, AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Sharepoint) is an asset.
