American Ordnance, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Program Manager II onsite in Middletown, IA to lead end to end production of high quality ammunition for government customers. You’ll direct engineering, development, sample production and planning for full rate production, integrate with key technology partners, and serve as the primary point of contact with suppliers, internal service providers and government representatives. Ideal candidates have ten years or more in government procurement with at least four years of management, strong budgeting and data analysis skills, and a proven ability to interpret contract requirements into actionable processes. Be prepared for a possible US government secret clearance, background checks, and meeting the listed physical requirements. For your application, tailor your resume to highlight leadership, collaboration, concrete results, and explicit government contracting experience, and emphasize proficiency in Excel, Word and Access.

In compliance with this states pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $107,200 - $160,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
