The University of Waikato is hiring a Project Change Specialist in ITS, a permanent full time onsite role based at Hillcrest Campus in Hamilton, to lead structured change across a major ICT portfolio from impact assessment to sustained adoption. You will define adoption metrics, assess impacts and risks, sequence activities, escalate adoption risks to governance, and enable leaders to champion change while crafting targeted communications that drive uptake. You’ll strengthen ITS capability by embedding proven methodologies and practical tools. ITS is delivering a substantial portfolio of digital and technology-enabled initiatives that support the University’s strategic priorities. We are seeking a change practitioner to ensure these initiatives land well, embed successfully, and deliver measurable outcomes.
As Project Change Specialist, you will lead structured change approaches across the ITS portfolio. Working from impact assessment through to sustained adoption, you will design and implement change strategies that build readiness, strengthen sponsorship, and manage cumulative change load across multiple concurrent initiatives.

This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) based at our Hillcrest Campus.
