About the Role
The Project Coordinator serves mainly as the site designee for the set-up of a ready-mix plant and other tasks within the manufacturing division as required. They will provide support to the Manufacturing Manager by coordinating, managing, and supervision of all communications, works, and requests from consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal members for standard general.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for monitoring field processes to ensure that workmanship and quality standards are met, and that accurate records are maintained for all projects. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring adherence to the project schedule and budget forecasts.
This is a term position with an expected completion date of December 2026. Continuation of employment in this same role beyond this date is NOT guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities

Quotation, Budgeting and comparing technical solutions linked to the plant set-up project
- Schedule, Organize and Follow-up with all sub-contractors for the plant set-up accomplishment.
- Track the progress and completion of plants construction areas.
- Monitor internal crews for compliance with contractual requirements; review and enforce Subcontract agreements and report any non‑compliance to the management team.
- Support and lead all aspects of the company safety program, including compliance with applicable regulations and completion of formal safety inspections and reports as required.
- Ensure internal crews perform their scope of work in accordance with design standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Collect, verify, and confirm field quantities for month‑end progress submissions.
- Act as a company representative at site meetings and serve as the primary point of contact for field‑level project inquiries.
- Lead and promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including ethical conduct and safety standards.
- The Project Coordinator may also be required to participate in the activities and operations related to the management of the ready-mix concrete plant
Skills Required
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction/Industrials drawings and specifications.
- Working knowledge of construction equipment, materials, and field processes.
- Working knowledge of industrials processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Power Apps.
- Demonstrates a positive, cooperative, and team‑oriented attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven planning, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Committed to enforcing and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- High level of time management skills, independent judgment, and sound reasoning.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders diplomatically and professionally.
Qualifications
- Civil or Construction Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation or other relevant post‑secondary education.
- 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is considered an asset.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
Conditions of Employment
- 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, overtime as may be required.
- Prolonged sitting and computer work.
- Walking long distances over rough terrain.
- Outdoors, inclement weather during site visits.
- Working in and around live traffic, on active construction sites.
- Exposures: noise, dust, fumes, and other workplace hazardous materials.
- Comply with Company drug and alcohol policy.
- Reliable transportation (if required).
