What you’ll do
The role responsibilities include:
- Ensures projects are delivered at or below the approved budget and that proper change control processes are understood and used by the project team.
- Ensures Worley approved systems, processes & tools are deployed and complied with on the project in fit for purpose way.
- Identify potential technical risks and effectively develops risk mitigation, contingency and resolution plans.
- Set clear objectives for the project team including scope, schedule, productivity and budget targets.
- Requires onsite presence from time to time to ensure construction is being performed to plan and design.
- Make independent decisions based on established guidelines, taking into account the cost and schedule impact to the project.
- Daily administration of project and/or Worley policies and processes in order for the projects team to meet business objectives.
- Work with self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technical guidance.
- Apply knowledge of all aspects of project engineering to oversee successful technical coordination.
- Maintains HSE focus within the team to ensure HSE requirements are included in design and procurement.
What you’ll have
- A University degree or equivalent in engineering or equivalent experience with professional registration in local jurisdiction.
- Previous engineering experience.
- End to end project delivery experience including on-site construction management of small projects
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Can organise information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies.
- Understanding of project budgets, project resource plans and earned value tracking.
- Understanding of project schedules and resource plan requirements for technical aspects of the project.
- The ability to clearly and professionally communicate with project stakeholders and project teams.
- A positive and respectful attitude that fosters collaboration and teamwork to ensure the successful outcome of projects.
