What you’ll be doing:
Support the Project Manager in coordinating daily activities so that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
Review and challenge project plans and schedules to make sure they’re realistic, well-integrated, and reflect actual progress
Support the management of assigned cost accounts, helping to meet agreed-upon budgets, schedules, and quality benchmarks
Assist in managing project costs and performance, helping to ensure targets are met without compromising quality
Identify potential challenges and opportunities early and contribute to practical plans for addressing them
Keep a close eye on key deliverables and acceptance events, helping to make sure we hit every important milestone along the way
Your skills and experiences:
Exposure to working in a project environment, with a solid understanding of project management tools and techniques. You’ll be able to apply this knowledge to deliver results and seek guidance for more complex tasks
Solid analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data, supporting sound decision-making and project success
Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, influencing and building rapport with both internal teams and external stakeholders
A good understanding of the project lifecycle, key stages, processes, and controls needed to deliver projects on time and to specification
