Job Description

The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for providing Technical Support for the Radisson Hotel Group developments primarily throughout Middle East and Africa.

Project types include leads & pipeline projects (new build, equity, conversions projects) and existing hotel projects (Retrofit & Engineering projects) across all of Radisson Hotel brands.

Key objectives are:

  • Maximize compliance to the Engineering Technical Brand Standards, to ensure that hotel meets the market and guest expectations.
  • Monitor, advice & coordinate of the Engineering Technical Design Guidelines correct implementation.
  • Monitor and report project related engineering progress and activities during execution phase.
  • Control and ensure of Fire, Life & Safety RHG standards compliance in all projects.
  • Review and Evaluate all trades and systems related to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) and ensure compliance with RHG standards.
  • Develop and review deviations and non-compliant elements in the design of systems as per RHG list.
  • Develop and foster good professional working relationships with Owning Companies, hotel developers, contractors, and their design teams.
  • Actively facilitate to promote Radisson Hotel brand concepts (Design philosophy) for brand consistency, using all available knowhow and past experience with these concepts
  • Support the Area Dir. of Engineering and Design Scope & Think Planet as per RHG Objectives.
  • Assisting in developing our brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management, with at least 5 years managing large-scale projects within the GCC region.
  • Proven experience in commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and lifecycle project management.
  • Familiarity with GCC building regulations, local authority approval processes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in drawing software tools such as AUTOCAD, 2D, 3D.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral. Ability to speak Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
