Millennium Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Project Manager: Hospitality in Dubai to drive hotel developments, renovations and fit outs across the Middle East and Africa, ideal for an architect who has transitioned into project management and is passionate about delivering high quality hospitality projects on time, within budget, and to brand standards. You will manage projects from concept through completion, coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors and hotel owners, monitor schedules and budgets, review drawings and technical submissions, identify risks with practical mitigations, ensure compliance with local regulations and brand guidelines, lead coordination meetings and site visits, support procurement, and maintain clear stakeholder communication, including RFPs, tendering and commercial clarifications. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in architecture, 3-6 years of experience in project management or hospitality development, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project and Office, fluent English with Arabic an advantage, and preferred experience in hotel or mixed-use developments, familiarity with brand standards, BIM and digital collaboration tools, and PMP certification or progress toward it. This role is ideal for an architect who has transitioned into project management and is passionate about delivering high-quality hospitality developments. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of new hotel developments, renovations, and fit-out projects across the Middle East & Africa, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with Millennium brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage hospitality development and renovation projects from concept through completion.
· Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and hotel owners throughout the project lifecycle.
· Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall progress.
· Review architectural drawings, technical submissions, material specifications, and shop drawings.
· Identify project risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
· Ensure projects comply with local regulations, building codes, and Millennium Hotels & Resorts brand standards.
· Lead project coordination meetings and prepare progress reports for senior management.
· Conduct site visits to monitor construction quality, progress, and compliance.
· Coordinate design changes, value engineering proposals, and technical solutions.
· Support procurement activities by reviewing technical proposals and consultant/contractor submissions.
· Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
· Practical experience with RFP preparation, tendering, bidding, and quotation evaluation.
· Understanding of scopes of work, technical specifications, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial clarifications.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
· 3-6 years of experience in project management, architecture, or hospitality development.
· Strong understanding of architectural design, construction processes, and project delivery.
· Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Preferred:
· Experience working on hotel, mixed-use, or high-end commercial developments.
· Familiarity with hospitality brand standards and design guidelines.
· Knowledge of project management methodologies and reporting tools.
· Experience using BIM workflows and digital collaboration platforms.
PMP certification or working toward PMP is an advantage
