Queensland Rail’s Major Projects team is recruiting two Projects Directors to lead the delivery and integration of major rail infrastructure in the Central or South projects space, navigating complex governance including Alliance and PPP arrangements and aligning with the Delivery Authorities, DTMR and other key stakeholders. You will shape the strategic direction from development to construction, manage budgets, schedules and safety targets, and provide high level reporting on cost, time and quality risks. You should bring a proven record of leading complex infrastructure projects, deep rail operations knowledge, strong contract negotiation and governance skills, and exceptional influencing and communication abilities. Queensland Rail’s Major Projects team is currently recruiting for two Projects Director roles.
Working withing either the Central projects space or South projects space, these roles will see you leading the delivery and integration of major rail infrastructure programs within a complex operating environment, ensuring alignment with contractual and regulatory obligations, and the expectations of the Delivery Authorities, Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR), and other key stakeholders.
You will operate within complex governance and commercial frameworks, including Alliance and Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements, to align diverse stakeholder objectives, manage safety change, and oversee business integration to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
