Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Public and Governmental Affairs Manager MIDI, Amsterdam based, to shape policy and government engagement across the MIDI region and lead the Dutch GA plan. You will turn corporate priorities into regional objectives, coordinate with OPUs, monitor policy developments, and drive stakeholder engagement to safeguard patient access. Key requirements: Master’s in politics or related field, seven years in regional or national politics or government relations, deep healthcare or animal health policy knowledge, strong NL network, IP familiarity, and fluency in Dutch and English. THE OPPORTUNITY
As Public & Governmental Affairs (P&GA) Manager MIDI, you will shape and advance Boehringer Ingelheim’s policy and government engagement agenda across the MIDI region, playing a pivotal role in creating a favorable environment for our Human Pharma and Animal Health businesses.
In this influential role, you will develop and execute high‑impact policy positions and Government Affairs programs, closely monitor political and regulatory developments, and proactively translate insights into strategic actions for the business.
Moreover, you will coordinate, activate, and support Public & Government Affairs (PG&A) responsible colleagues across the Operating Units (OPUs) in MIDI, while personally leading the development and execution of the P&GA plan in the Netherlands
Through strong stakeholder engagement and a robust Corporate Affairs strategy, you will help ensure sustainable access to Boehringer Ingelheim’s medicines for patients and society — today and in the future.
This position is based in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and reports directly to the Head of Corporate Affairs MIDI.
