Oxley Tavern is seeking a REAL Publican to lead onsite in Oxley, a full‑time role within the Endeavour Group. Base salary from $90,000 plus super, bonus and group wide discounts, with growth opportunities across ALH Hotels and the wider network. You’ll be the hub of the local community, turning locals into friends and friends into loyal guests while owning the P&L and driving a high performing team. This hands on role involves lifting and stocking; RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications are required and a National Police Check may be part of recruitment. We’re on the hunt for a REAL Publican, someone who lives and breathes hospitality, leads from the front, and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.

Having said that, if you are an experienced Assistant Manager and think now is the time for your first Publican (Venue Manager) role, this might be right up your alley!!

Here at the Oxley Tavern we offer great food and friendly service. Located southwest of Brisbane on Blunder Road in Oxley, we’re a favourite of locals and visitors alike.

A day in the life of a Publican:

• You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
• You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
• You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
• You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
• You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

You already know if this is for you. You’ve got the experience, the presence, and the pride it takes to own a pub like it’s been yours forever. You're not just running a venue - you're living the Publican life.

• Hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements
