Xperteez Technology is looking for a QA Engineer to join its full-time, hybrid team based in International City, AE. The role blends hands-on testing with automation work and close collaboration with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable software. If you value practical QA, enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams, and want to help shipping high-quality features, this could be a fit.

Xperteez Technology builds software products and places a heavy emphasis on quality and performance. The team seeks a candidate who can own testing across new features, bug fixes, and improvements, design solid test scenarios, and contribute to automation that speeds up delivery while reducing risk.

With a hybrid setup, the team collaborates across locations to keep development moving. The role is full-time and calls for someone who can balance manual testing with automation, work closely with engineering and product, and contribute to a high-performing, remote-friendly environment.

A day in the life of a QA engineer

You’ll own testing activities across new features, product improvements, and bug fixes, shaping test plans and maintaining comprehensive manual test cases and scenarios that reflect how the product is used. You’ll document outcomes clearly and ensure coverage aligns with the team’s goals as features move toward release.

You’ll identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the development lifecycle, while building and maintaining automated tests to improve regression coverage and efficiency. Functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing will be part of your routine to surface issues early and guide fix priorities.

Working alongside engineers and product teammates, you’ll clarify requirements, spot risks, and ensure appropriate test coverage. You’ll participate in Agile planning, refinement, and release cycles, and you’ll look for opportunities to improve QA processes and overall product quality while prioritizing work and communicating blockers and risks to the team.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Must-have: Proven experience in software quality assurance within agile, fast-paced environments.

  • Must-have: Strong manual testing fundamentals, with solid test planning and test execution.

  • Must-have: Hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, and executing automated tests and testing frameworks.

  • Must-have: Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

  • Must-have: Clear understanding of software development lifecycles, QA processes, and release validation.

  • Must-have: Proficiency with bug-tracking systems, test management tools, and version control platforms.

  • Must-have: Demonstrated ability to identify, document, reproduce, and validate defects.

  • Must-have: Solid grasp of test coverage, regression strategies, and QA best practices.

Pay, perks and practical details

The base salary for this full-time position is $100,000.00 USD to $140,000.00 USD per year. In addition to the base, the role may include equity compensation and potential performance-based bonuses, subject to company policies.

Xperteez offers a comprehensive benefits package, including up to 100% reimbursement for health-insurance premiums, paid time off, a 401(K) plan with a company match, and additional benefits designed to support a high-performing, remote-first workforce.

The hiring process uses artificial intelligence tools to assist in candidate screening and assessment. The AI tools are designed to complement, not replace, human decision-making.

The position is based in International City, AE, and operates on a hybrid work model, combining onsite collaboration with some remote work.

Tips for applicants

Lead your resume with your QA experience in agile environments and highlight your hands-on automation work up front, so it’s clear you can handle both manual testing and automated validation.

When you describe your must-have skills, back them up with concrete examples: show how you designed, implemented, and maintained automated tests, how you used bug-tracking and test-management tools, and how you ensured broad test coverage and effective regression strategies.

Prepare to discuss real-world scenarios in interviews: be ready to walk through test plans for new features, explain how you approach functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing, and talk about how you partner with engineers and product managers to identify risks and validate fixes.

End with a smart question that aligns with this posting, such as how the team balances AI-assisted screening with human evaluation and what qualities they prioritise when selecting QA candidates for immediate next steps.
