Riot Games is seeking a QA Engineer II for the VALORANT Engine team in Sydney to translate quality goals into plans across teams. You will map quality targets, collect and report metrics, highlight risks early, triage defects, author test plans, oversee test execution, and partner with QA teams worldwide to sustain quality. Required: 3+ years QA, 1+ year with game engines, experience in test automation scripting, whitebox and blackbox design, and defect management; Agile experience. Desired: Unreal Engine 5, Perforce, Zephyr, Git, Unreal Insights, FPS background, ISTQB/ICAgile certs. As a QA Engineer II for the Engine team on VALORANT, you will be accountable for ensuring that design and delivery intent is clearly understood by the teams involved, risks to quality are highlighted early and often, and that you have sufficient and effective test strategies, test plans, information, and resources to accomplish the team’s quality goals for your product[s]. You will also be responsible for reporting on product quality and using that data to identify and implement quality improvements to the team’s development process. Additionally, you will partner with remote QA teams to ensure features are delivered at a high quality bar. You will report to the Quality Manager for the project in Sydney.
