Koch Foods is hiring QA Techs for the Prepared Plant in Morton, MS, full-time on site. You’ll conduct QA audits, resolve quality or production issues with management, evaluate labeling and product movement, educate teammates, and act as the source for critical quality issues while performing HACCP and quality tests. Qualifications include a high school diploma, HACCP certification preferred, leadership experience preferred, and strong communication and attention to detail in a food manufacturing setting. Be prepared for standing, exposure to noise, heat and cold, and lifting 25+ lbs.   • Conduct QA audits, ensuring Company standards are maintained, and product integrity is preserved.
  • Work closely with management to resolve any quality or production issues.
  • Evaluate and take corrective action regarding labeling and product movement.
  • Assist in the education and instruction of team members throughout the facility.
  • Act as source of critical quality issues.
  • Perform HACCP and quality tests and audits.
  • All other relevant duties to the position.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma.
  • HACCP certification preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Previous quality experience in a food manufacturing environment required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

  • Constantly stand and/or walk throughout shift.
  • Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
  • Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
  • Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments.
  • Regularly lift 25+ lbs.
  • Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
