Your Role

 

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the QC Fab Technician conducts functional testing on photoresists, ancillary chemicals, raw materials, and semiconductor processing equipment within a Class 100 cleanroom. In this role, the technician manages lab and safety supplies, maintains precise documentation, and strictly upholds all safety protocols. Additionally, they perform basic data analysis and report test results utilizing software tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP, and internal quality systems. This is a second shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) position requiring initial training on first shift. Key responsibilities include the following:

 

  • Conduct functional testing of production and test-request samples using semiconductor processing and metrology equipment; follow documented work instructions and safety practices
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of Fab developers
  • Participate in wafer cleaning and priming; measure physical properties of wafers such as contact angle and cleanliness using all relevant process tools
  • Practice good housekeeping: clean sample bottles after testing, empty hazardous waste containers, refill solvent containers (e.g., Acetone), and maintain work area and fume hoods
  • Ensure all safety protocols are always met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for testing new products and methods
  • Wear appropriate PPE, including a respirator
  • Perform periodic safety checks in the Fab

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or chemical production environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or other life science discipline
  • 1+ year of experience in a Quality Control (QC) or chemical laboratory environment
  • Prior experience in a semiconductor fab or cleanroom environment with wafer processing
  • 1+ year of experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience performing basic statistical analysis and data interpretation
  • Ability to work comfortably and safely in a Class 100 cleanroom (including required PPE/respirators)
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality standards
  • Ability to strictly follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to continuously learn and develop

 

Pay Range for this position - $30.00 - $54.00/Hour 

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
