Hydropool, an entity of Jacuzzi Group, is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to join the 2nd shift in Mississauga for a full-time onsite role from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm ET, with CAD 45,000 plus compensation. You’ll perform daily visual and functional inspections covering first article, in process and final checks, and you’ll use tools such as tape measures, digital calipers and micrometers to make independent quality judgments. You’ll collect defect data, tag defective components, update the QMS on tablets, and participate in spa audits with root cause analysis, communicating results to managers. To apply effectively, emphasize 2+ years in manufacturing quality inspection, proficiency with inspection tools, strong communication and attention to detail, a willingness to lift 50 pounds and stand through the shift, and a demonstrated drive to grow within Hydropool.

We are currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team on the afternoon shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm ET

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily Quality Inspections (Visual and Functional) utilize our quality tracking process to ensure manufactured products satisfy internal and external standards.
  • Experience with first article, in process and final inspections preferred.
  • Utilizing various tools related to quality inspections (tape-measure, digital calipers, micrometers).
  • Make independent judgment calls for production or quality reviews.
  • Collect and record accurate data regarding defects; tag and isolate defective components and product for inspection or repair.
  • Provide description or justification for defects by updating our Quality Management System (QMS) through tablets.
  • Audits of spas, compiling inspection data and root cause analysis.
  • Communicate audit results to managers, supervisors, and production supervisors.

Compensation based on experience CAD $45,000+

Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality inspection .
  • Ability to use Quality Inspection tools (tape-measure, digital calipers, micrometers).
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Strong desire to grow within an organization
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout entire shift.
  • Must be willing to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
