SGS seeks a seasoned Quality Control Inspector for onshore Abu Dhabi to organize and execute inspection jobs, perform on-site inspections of materials and construction activities, issue quality records and non-conformance reports, and ensure conformity with the Quality Control Plan. You will verify procedures and equipment, manage test documentation, ensure correct ITP implementation, and check systems such as transformers, switchboards, batteries, lighting and cables. Requirements: Diploma or Engineering degree, 8+ years in oil and gas construction, mandatory electrical certifications (ATEX, CompEx), familiarity with relevant standards; Saudi Aramco/ADNOC approvals are a plus. Job Description

• Organize and execute inspection jobs with professionalism.

• Execute the specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.
• Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications.
• Check power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system, Remote terminal unit, instruments, cables, tunings etc.
• Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, check rating and material for connection.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.  
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas construction sector.
• Previous Saudi Aramco / ADNOC approvals Preferable but not mandatory 
• Electrical certifications ( ATEX , CompEx, Etc., ) mandatory 
• Familiar with applicable engineering standards and codes that will be used during QC surveillance activities in onshore and offshore fabrication/ Construction/ EPC projects.
