Aecon Group Inc is hiring a Quality Control Supervisor Balance of Plant for an eight month onsite contract in Bowmanville, ON, supporting the Darlington New Nuclear Project with Kiewit Nuclear Canada and OPG. You will supervise the QC team, develop and implement site QC procedures, prepare Inspection and Test Plans and Construction Work Packages, and manage NCRs to ensure conformance with CSA A23.1/23.2/23.4, ACI, ASTM, OPSS, and ISO 9001:2015. The ideal candidate has post secondary education, seven years in heavy civil construction with five in supervision, strong communication, and optional CWB Level II or AWS weld inspector credentials. What is the Opportunity?
As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract in an Aecon-led partnership with Kiewit Nuclear Canada by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for the execution phase on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. Beginning in 2025 Aecon will support the Construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site.
Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, the Quality Control Supervisor – Balance of Plant (BOP) will be responsible for the supervision and oversite quality control inspection staff of the in the Balance of Plant segment. The QC Supervisor – BOP will work with other Aecon sectors and Alliance partners to monitor the construction systems and processes that will achieve outstanding nuclear safety metrics and cost-effective quality operational results in support of the DNNP.

Pay Range: $55-64/hr
