As a Quality Testing Technician - MCB, you are responsible for testing MCB sub assembly and finished products to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements before released to next production stage and finally to customers. You perform visual and testing, verify documentation, and maintain accurate records. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical components, and prior experience in MCB, ACB and/or Switchgear manufacturing industries.You will inspect and test MCB sub assembly and finished products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and readiness for production use and release to customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Inspect & Test MCB sub assemblies and finish products.
  • Verify quantity, part numbers, and supplier documentation.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate tools.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Document inspection results and maintain traceability records.
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming parts / materials.
  • Coordinate with production team for disposition of rejected items.
  • Ensure proper safe handling and storage of components.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement in MCB product processes.  

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in MCB, ACB and/or Switchgear manufacturing industries with a focus on incoming quality control and component inspection.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components, consumables for MCB, ACB and Switchgear products.
  • Proficiency in all electrical test instruments.
  • Ability to read datasheets, specifications, and delivery documents.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for material tracking.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
