DAMAC is seeking a full-time onsite Quantity Surveyor in the United Arab Emirates to manage post contract administration, including reviewing advances, payment guarantees and bonds, submitting and certifying monthly interim payments, processing variations and claims with thorough substantiation, and updating project budgets accordingly while closing subcontractor and main works contractor accounts. The ideal candidate has 9+ years of relevant experience with a contractor, cost consultant or developer, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management. Job Responsibilities

Post Contract

• Ensure all documentation in-terms of advances, payment guarantees, bonds etc. are reviewed on submission. 
• Ensure monthly interim payments and all substantiation documentations are submitted in-order. 
• Review and process interim payment certification in line with our required business timelines. 
• Review variations / claims submissions and prepare the required substantiation to approve / reject as required 
• Ensure construction / projects budgets are updated as per the payment certification and variations
• Finalize variations and ensure sub-contractor final accounts. 
• Finalize main works contractor accounts. 

Experience and Qualification

• 9+ years of relevant experience either as part of the Contractor, Cost Consultants, Developer
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, (Civil, Structural preferably) / Quantity Surveying, Construction Management
