Key duties include risk identification from contract documents and schedules, fortnightly risk reports with mitigation plans, MTO verification against AFC drawings, IWP, WFP and AWP execution, FCN and DCN handling, and material reconciliation using Excel and AutoCAD for alignment sheets. Job Description

  • Senior Pipeline QS with expertise in pipeline activities, collaborating closely with Field Engineering, Procurement, Cost Control, Construction, and Contracts teams to manage quantity and cost control workflows.

  • Skilled in identifying project risks based on contract documents, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring minimal cost and schedule impacts.

  • Proficient in submitting fortnightly risk reports and mitigation plans aligned with EPC/Contractor performance.

  • Experienced in developing strategic plans and advising management on cost-controlled solutions for claims raised by contractors, while cross-checking MTOs with AFC drawings to update procurement needs.

  • Strong knowledge of project design methods, construction monitoring, and lifecycle planning from quantity and material scheduling to coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (piping, mechanical, civil, E&I).

  • Hands-on experience with tie-ins, pre-shutdown, and shutdown activities, including material requisition packages.

  • Adept in field change approvals (FCN, DCN), site variations, test pack verifications, and as-built requirements.

  • Well-versed in Installation Work Packages (IWP) and Workface Planning (WFP) to implement Advanced Work Package (AWP) methodology, ensuring milestone-based execution.

  • Proficiency in MS excel for controlling the Materials

  • Ability to reconcile the materials released to sub-contractor.

  • Proficiency on AutoCAD for reading Alignment sheets drawings and basilar knowledge of related pipeline design

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering 

Minimum 5-10 years' experience

With experience working in Oil & Gas Projects

Advantage if with experience working in EPC company in ADNOC Projects.
