JOB SUMMARY:Within the context of a client and family centered care model and a client service culture and in accordance with established vision and values of the organization, uses considerable tact and diplomacy to provide communication, information and reception services, administrative support functions and other duties relating to program activities as assigned by the Manager and/or delegate. Exhibits current working knowledge of applicable computer systems and software programs. Maintains general knowledge of business office procedures such as establishing and maintaining filing systems, typing a variety of non-technical material and maintains levels of stationary supplies. QUALIFICATIONS:QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience Grade 12 plus two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Knowledge & AbilitiesAbility to keyboard 5000 keystrokes per hour.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others.Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.Ability to analyze, problem solve and take initiative.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the positionThe hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
