We’re seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team on a 6-month Short-Term Assignment (STA) to support hiring efforts and deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate experience.
The Recruiting Coordinator provides essential administrative and logistical support to the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. This role supports the end-to-end hiring process, including interview scheduling, onsite interview coordination, job postings, and completion of required documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a positive experience for candidates and hiring teams.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Scheduling & Logistics
- Manage interview schedules: Coordinate virtual and onsite interviews in partnership with recruiters and executive assistants (EAs), including logistics such as travel arrangements and room bookings.
- Prepare interview itineraries: Create and distribute detailed interview schedules and itineraries to candidates and interviewers.
Candidate Onsite Experience
- Primary point of contact: Serve as the main point of contact for candidates during onsite interviews, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Problem solving: Quickly address and resolve last-minute scheduling or logistical issues in collaboration with recruiters.
Job Postings & External Sourcing
- Job postings: Review job descriptions and post open roles to the Yum! Careers site in a timely manner.
- Specialty job boards: Post roles to specialty job boards and manage related invoices and tracking.
Candidate Onboarding & Processing
- Onboarding support: Facilitate new hire documentation and onboarding processes, including monitoring background checks. Partner with HR Coordinators to support a smooth transition for new hires.
Ad-Hoc Reporting
- Reporting support: Assist with ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks as needed to support the TA team.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or recruiting support role.
- Experience supporting talent acquisition or HR operations is a plus.
Required
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS systems (Oracle experience is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and a genuine interest in building strong relationships with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in recruiting coordination or talent acquisition support.
- Familiarity with recruitment marketing, social media job postings, or managing career pages.
