The Recruiting Manager oversees the Talent Acquisition team and takes a hands-on approach to managing the entire recruitment process for positions at all levels throughout the GCC region.
In this dynamic, hands-on position, the Recruiting Manager will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent, effectively managing key stakeholders, mentoring junior team members, and upholding a consistent, high-quality recruitment process throughout the organization.

Job responsibility
• Ensure full compliance with all recruitment policies and procedures, proactively identifying and suggesting opportunities for improvement.
· Actively source candidates from a wide range of backgrounds for open vacancies, ensuring alignment with ENGIE’s objectives around diversity, equity, inclusion, and the advancement of women in leadership.
• Utilise direct advertising, referrals, and professional networking to build cost-effective talent pipelines and robust pools of potential external candidates.
• Offer expert guidance and support to managers on all aspects of recruitment, including best practice in selection and assessment.
· Support management in drafting job descriptions and person specifications, write engaging job adverts, and determine the most effective channels for internal and external advertising, prioritizing opportunities for current group employees where appropriate.
• Identify and recommend new recruitment channels and opportunities to enhance employer branding.
• Shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, psychometric assessments, personality questionnaires, and other selection methods as appropriate.
· Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits team to prepare offers for external hires and negotiate employment contracts in an international context, working closely with expatriate advisors for internal mobility candidates.
• Manage Preferred Supplier Arrangements with third-party providers to ensure quality, timeliness, and the ability to meet required lead times for assignments.
• Provide regular vacancy updates to line managers to ensure transparency and effective communication.
· Implement a systematic approach to forecasting vacancies, including internal mobility, and contribute to strategic workforce planning initiatives.
• Deploy the Employee Value Proposition to promote the company as an employer of choice through targeted channels such as business magazines, recruitment agencies, and online platforms to attract top talent.
• Actively participate in HR projects to support the overall success of the HR team.
• Maintain a well-organised and up-to-date applicant database to support efficient recruitment processes.
• Track and analyse key recruitment KPIs, including time to hire, number of applicants per vacancy, internal mobility rates, localisation efforts, and the recruitment of female managers, to inform continuous improvement and ensure targets are met.
