Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

As a Recruitment Advisor at Hato Hone St John, you’ll play a key role in attracting, sourcing and selecting talent that reflects the diverse communities we serve. You’ll deliver an exceptional end-to-end candidate experience, from first attraction through to onboarding, while ensuring recruitment practices are fair, inclusive and aligned with best practice.

Working in close partnership with hiring managers, you’ll develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to build strong and diverse talent pipelines. You’ll also provide coaching and guidance to leaders on selection approaches and decision-making, helping lift capability and ensure high-quality, consistent hiring outcomes across the organisation.

This is a people-focused role where your recruitment expertise, relationship-building skills and commitment to continuous improvement will make a real impact.

We have two opportunities available:

  • one permanent
  • one fixed- term parental cover for 14 months. 

Qualifications

Ko wai koe - About you:

You’re an experienced Recruitment practitioner who brings a strong business partnering approach and a track record of success in large, complex organisations. You’re confident managing end-to-end recruitment across a range of roles and seniority levels, and you stay up to date with current recruitment best practice to continuously improve how hiring is done.

You’re comfortable working with data, using insights and trends to inform sourcing strategies, challenge assumptions and support better decision-making. With strong relationship-building skills, you can influence and coach hiring managers, balance competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Above all, you’re people-centred, pragmatic and solutions-focused, with a genuine commitment to fair, inclusive and effective recruitment.
