SD Worx is looking to fill a Recruitment Consultant Large Accounts role in Venlo. This full-time, onsite position revolves around one major client with several sites in the region, handling the complete flexible-work staffing cycle from sourcing and onboarding to regular evaluations. If you’re good at building trust with both clients and candidates and you like being in the thick of day-to-day operations, you could be a great fit.

The company is known for a flat structure and a culture that invites ideas to take practical shape. The team around Venlo consists of six colleagues, and the role promises plenty of variety as you work to align staffing with the client’s needs in a dynamic labour market. Dutch is the primary language on the client site, with English and German commonly used with the flex workforce.

You’ll be expected to maintain a hands-on presence, visiting the client on a regular basis, both in the office and on the shop floor, to stay close to what’s happening across departments and stakeholders. This is a client-facing role where your ability to understand the business and translate it into staffing solutions will drive success.

Making the daily routine count on a flagship Venlo client

In practice, you’ll own the end-to-end relationship with the large client, keeping a clear view of what each department needs and who your main stakeholders are. You’ll combine advisory support with hands-on recruitment, treating flexible labour as a strategic tool to help the client reach its goals. When it comes to the admin side, you’ll keep schedules transparent and ensure pay and verifications align with the plan, while your onboarding work will set new colleagues up for a fast, strong start.

Expect to spend a lot of time coordinating with the client, translating business requirements into talent plans, and guiding the process from candidate outreach through onboarding and ongoing engagement. Your role sits at the intersection of recruitment, account management and workforce administration, so being comfortable in those spaces and able to connect quickly with people across teams is key. On-site presence is valued, and the daily routine will weave in visits to different site locations and interactions with a diverse, multilingual workforce.

What you’ll need to succeed, and what would help you stand out

  • Strong communication and a proven ability to advise on flexible staffing, paired with a clear drive to deliver results
  • A genuine team player who collaborates well with colleagues and client stakeholders
  • Availability for at least 32 hours per week and a valid driver’s license with a willingness to travel within the region
  • Fluency in English and/or German; knowledge of Polish is a plus
  • Polish language skills would be a welcome bonus

Pay, benefits and practical details you should know

The role carries a monthly gross salary of €2600,- to €3300,-, dependent on your education and work or internship experience. In addition, you’ll receive a net internet allowance of €25,- per month for full-time work. You’ll enjoy 25 vacation days and 6.5 ADV days, with an option for 2.5% extra salary, plus an extra day off on your birthday. A vacation allowance of 8.5% is included, and there is an attractive quarterly bonus scheme. A lease car is provided, and you’re allowed to use it privately. SD Worx also offers a pension arrangement, with the company covering 60% of the premium, and you’ll receive discounts on a sports subscription.

For this position, the work arrangement is onsite in Venlo, and you’ll be joining a dynamic team of six colleagues within a market that rewards hands-on collaboration and practical problem-solving. The expectation is to be ready to travel within the region and to operate with a strong sense of ownership over both the client relationship and the staffing outcomes.

Keen to move forward? Here’s how to present your case to stand out for this specific opportunity.

Your resume should lead with the kind of client-facing, end-to-end staffing work the role demands. Highlight any experience you have managing a large account, including recruitment, onboarding and payroll administration, and demonstrate how you’ve kept stakeholders aligned and satisfied across multiple locations. A summary that foreground your ability to drive results through flexible staffing will catch the eye of the hiring team.

Use your application to prove the must-have skills the role asks for. Point to examples where your communication helped close a staffing gap, where you used your knowledge of labour mediation to smooth negotiations, and where your drive produced tangible outcomes for a client. If you’ve worked in English and/or German in a professional setting, be sure to illustrate that with concrete scenarios; if Polish is in your wheelhouse, mention it as a bonus.

In interviews, expect to discuss how you would balance being on the client floor with the need to stay strategic for the long term. Be ready to talk about how you’d partner with the six-person team and how you’ve handled onboarding to give new colleagues a strong start. Prepare to describe a time you collaborated across departments to solve a staffing challenge, and share how you measure success in a flexible-work context.

Finish with a smart question that shows you’ve thought about this client-centric approach. For example: how is the client’s staffing need distributed across Venlo’s sites, and what does the onboarding process look like for new flex workers joining this large, multi-site account?
