Main goal

The Refereeing Development Intern will support the Refereeing Services unit during the busy summer period when qualifying matches for all UEFA competitions take place and assist colleagues organising numerous referee training courses.

Key responsibilities

  • Requesting all travel and accommodation in UEFA's dedicated platform for the eight remaining refereeing courses in 2026
  • Coordinating sponsorship activities and the provision of kit from supplier Macron with Marketing
  • Organising pre-matchday visits of representatives of the UEFA Referees Committee to the 36 clubs participating in the UEFA Champions League, including liaising with the representatives and the Club Competitions Project team to select dates, booking flights and accommodation and following up on the reimbursement of expenses
  • Supporting colleagues on-site at up to ten referee training courses
