G4S is seeking a Regional Engineering Manager for the South East to grow service income, lead a 12 engineer team, and ensure high performance against customer SLAs. The role is 40 hours per week, based in the South East with a company car, pension, phone and laptop, and 25 days’ leave plus bank holidays. You’ll drive growth of contractual service income beyond £2.5m by expanding offerings with new and existing clients, manage engineering performance to achieve 95% response targets and 100% PPM completion, improve first fix performance, and oversee small works while ensuring compliant processes. You’ll handle reactive billing and planned works to hit P&L, and conduct customer meetings. BS7858 screening will apply; location in the South East is essential.


 

We have a new opportunity for a Regional Engineering Manager for our South East area. 

 

  • Growing the regions contractual service income (currently over £2.5m) through liaising with new and existing customers to expand service offerings.
  • Managing engineering performance to make sure we attain 95% response targets to our customer base.
  • Managing PPM performance, attaining 100% completion of scheduled works within month.
  • Managing first fix performance, looking for ways to improve on an already strong performance.
  • General performance management of a team of 12 engineers to make sure all G4S Values and processes are followed.
  • Overseeing small works.
  • Managing reactive billing and planned works to attain a monthly income in line with P&L.
  • Customer meetings and account management.
Obviously a lot more to the role but the above are the headlines.
 
The position will be 40hrs per week, 25 days annual leave (+B/Hols).  Company car, pension, phone, laptop.  Successful candidates must be located in the South East for ease of reach to both customers and local engineering base.
