An exciting opportunity for a Regional Security Officer with Samsic UK Security in Greater Manchester covering Stockport and Buxton. This full-time onsite role requires flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends, offering 48 to 60 hours weekly at £13.39 per hour plus 40p per mile travel allowance. Duties include meet and greet, handling inquiries, operating security systems, producing reports and acting as ambassador between client and Samsic. Essential: excellent communication and customer care, health and safety knowledge, basic computer literacy, numeracy and observation skills, and a flexible attitude. Must hold a current SIA licence, right to work in the UK for 12 months, fluent in English, and provide a five-year checkable history with months and years; CVs must show full five-year history and explain gaps. We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Security Officer to join our team covering Stockport, Buxton, Halifax and surrounding  areas.

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.

** Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work days, nights, weekends & bank holidays **

As a Regional Security Officer you will work various shifts covering days nights & weekends:

· Pay Rate: £13.39 + 40p per mile Travel Allowance

· Average Weekly Hours: 48-60 hrs pw

· Contracted Hours: 48 hrs pw

· Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time

Duties will include:

· “Meet and Greet”

· Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally

· Manage all systems within the security control base

· Ensure a vigilance, professional presence

· Produce accurate reports as and when needed

· Be an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager

· Be an effective ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client

Essential Requirements:

· Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken

· Excellent customer care skills

· Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety

· Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level

· Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports

· Demonstrates good observation skills

· Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns

In order to work for Samsic UK you MUST fulfil the following criteria:

· Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding

· Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months

· Be fluent in spoken and written English

· Have a five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 3 Year Work History record at your interview)
