About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy and rewarding primary care environment where no two days are the same. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality nursing care, supporting preventative health initiatives, managing long-term conditions and helping patients achieve better health outcomes.

Working alongside General Practitioners, nurses and support staff, you will build trusted relationships with patients and contribute to a collaborative approach to healthcare delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care.
  • Undertake clinical assessments and nursing interventions.
  • Support acute and long-term condition management.
  • Provide health education and preventative healthcare advice.
  • Deliver immunisations, wound care and screening services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Advocate for patients and support equitable healthcare outcomes.
  • Collaborate with General Practitioners and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

What You Must Have

  • Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate.
  • Previous nursing experience in primary care, urgent care, community or acute settings.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to culturally safe practice and health equity.
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to use clinical systems.
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand.
