Braemar Hospital in Hamilton is seeking a part-time permanent Registered Nurse to join our Day Ward Haematology team. This high calibre service covers day surgery, endoscopy and haematology with Monday to Friday on-site shifts. You will deliver pre and post op care, pre and post endoscopy care, and where you have Haematology experience you will provide Haematology treatments while rotating across Day Ward areas as needed. To be successful you’ll bring at least three years’ surgical or haematology experience, current NZ Nursing Registration, clear professional communication, the ability to stay calm under pressure, strong time management and a collaborative, patient-centred approach. The Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Day Ward team.
The Day Ward offers surgical and medical day stay procedures, including dental, gynaecology, orthopaedics, general surgery, urology and plastics. We provide Haematology treatment and have two endoscopy theatres offering a range of services.
Reporting to the Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering pre and post op care and pre and post endoscopy care. If you have Haematology experience, you will be responsible for providing Haematology treatments and working across other Day Ward areas.
