About the Service

Cabrini’s Palliative and Supportive Care team provides expert, compassionate care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Our 18-bed inpatient unit in Malvern offers personalised pain and symptom management in a supportive, holistic environment. The team is supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator and works closely with patients and their families to ensure dignity, comfort, and the highest quality of care.

How you will make an impact

This is a full-time position with a variety of rotating shifts across a 7-day roster including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

As a Registered Nurse in this team, you’ll make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives by providing comfort, managing symptoms, and supporting families throughout their care journey. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care that aligns with Cabrini’s values.

About you

We’re seeking dedicated and empathetic nurses who are passionate about providing end-of-life care. Whether you bring experience from Palliative Care, Acute Medical, Oncology, or Aged Care, you’ll be supported to expand and develop your clinical skills in this rewarding area of practice.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

  • Minimum 2 years clinical in a similar nursing role (Palliative Care, Acute Medical, Oncology, or Aged Care desirable)

  • A commitment to Cabrini’s Mission and Values

  • Strong assessment, communication, and time management skills

  • A compassionate, team-focused approach to care
