MedHealth’s IPAR Rehabilitation Consultant role in West Perth welcomes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists to manage a supported caseload delivering occupational rehabilitation and helping clients return to health and work. You’ll perform functional capacity, worksite and ergonomic assessments, collaborate with injured workers, employers and healthcare teams, and may deliver the Re-thinking Recovery pain education program using virtual reality. New graduates are encouraged with onboarding and clear career paths. Essential: degree in OT, PT, or Exercise Physiology; full registration with AHPRA or ESSA or eligibility; strong communication, empathy and time management; a current driver’s license and access to your own car with insurance. This opportunity working as a Rehabilitation Consultant stands out as you will also get exposure delivering some of IPAR’s innovative services including our pain education Re-thinking Recovery program. This program centres around using virtual reality and modern pain science to help people understand pain and re-train their brain and body. Re-thinking recovery is used in collaboration with a client’s current healthcare approach and will involve engagement with the entire treating team to ensure that the service is focused on the client.
