Mashreq is seeking a Relationship Manager, Deposits & Employee Banking in Abu Dhabi to onboard high quality Emirati and Islamic clients with liability products while also cross selling personal loans, cards, insurance, and other bank offerings. To apply, show a proven track record in growing liabilities and cross selling, ideally with Mashreq Gold onboarding experience. The role centers on managing client relationships, driving new to bank business, and capturing wallet share by coordinating with RBG, CIBG and SME FX teams, while ensuring service excellence. You will enforce credit risk controls, KYC AML compliance, and high value transaction monitoring. Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years in banking sales, a confident, persistent, client facing demeanor, strong product knowledge, and a graduate degree.
The job purpose is to onboard potential quality clients with focus on liability products for Emirati & Islamic segment in the assigned region. In addition, the candidate will be required to handle other product offering like Personal loans, Cards, Insurance and other products offered by the bank.
The job holder will also be responsible in managing the relationship and support the client in any service-related matters and onboard Mashreq Gold profile clients.
- To proactively drive new-to-bank business to grow Emirati and Islamic business presence
- To maintain close contact and relationship with the clients in a way, which ensures that we remain one of their main banks getting a major share of their wallet.
- To proactively solicit / manage businesses, which meet agreed risk-reward parameters of the unit.
- To deliver agreed liabilities numbers and significant cross-sell of other products of the bank.
- Intra-organization liaison ensuring service delivery to clients.
- To work closely with all product and channel partners from RBG and CIBG and the SME FX team to maximize opportunities provided through regular contacts, feedback, co-ordination, and cross referrals.
- To ensure that the credit risk on account of facilities execution
- To ensure compliance requirements for the relationships are adhered to in line with the banks policies – KYC, AML, account reviews as per risk levels and high value transaction monitoring.
- Self-starter to ensure consistency in productivity and performance.
- Sales profile that requires confidence, persistence, likeable personality, verbal written skills
- Strong knowledge of products, service policies and processes of Retail Banking
- Graduate and have experience in Sales & Marketing with 7 - 10 plus years banking sales experience
