You will identify and onboard new clients, negotiate credit lines within underwriting standards, conduct regular client visits, and drive cross-selling across assets, liabilities, trade and treasury in collaboration with the Client Service Team. You’ll ensure timely credit administration, compliance and risk controls, and maintain a robust local network. Requirements: degree in Economics, Finance or Business Management and 4-6 years in business banking with UAE exposure; emerging markets experience is a plus. Job Purpose:



Responsible for Acquisition and management of Business banking relations, in coordination with the unit.


Principal Accountabilities:


Acquire new eligible accounts for funded and non-funded portfolio growth. These accounts to be from emerging corporate / mid corporate category which is AED 75Mn to AED 500Mn turn over size

Manage assigned portfolio with new and existing Business clients to retain & grow their banking relationships in a profitable manner and in line with assigned business KPIs.

Identify, solicit and acquire new Business clients in line with approved corporate strategies for Assets, Liabilities, Trade and Treasury Sales.

Negotiate appropriate credit lines in conformity with the Bank’s underwriting standards and risk adjusted targets after thorough analysis of information necessary for the preparation of a detailed credit proposal.

Ensure and abide by Bank’s compliance ,credit risk and operational risk policies .

Making regular visits to clients for both monitoring and business generation purposes. Such visits to be recorded by way of call reports which are to include all pertinent information in a timely manner.

Conduct account planning with Client Service Team Members & cross selling other products & services to Business clients to ensure multi-product relationship and greater Share of wallet. Facilitating other lines of business in exploiting business opportunities through referrals to Wealth/Consumer Banking.

Establish effective & professional communication (both internal and external) to ensure turnaround time within designated parameters and higher client satisfaction levels.

Ensure timely and accurate credit administration through timely completion of annual reviews and regular monitoring of financials, covenants and other parameters within the review cycle.

Comply with internal audit requirements in line with the policy guidelines, to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the Bank

Keep abreast of developments in the local business environment to spot business opportunities. Contribute to the planning process to develop corporate business strategies.


Develop a strong network of local contacts with the local business and financial institutions community.

Requirements

Education and Experience:


Degree in Economics or Finance or Business Management


4 – 6 years of experience in Business banking with 2-3 years of exposure to Business Banking in the UAE. Ideally incumbent should have had exposure to one or more emerging markets.
