Mashreq is seeking a UAE national Relationship Manager for Real Estate in the Corporate & Investment Banking Group. The role centers on maintaining and growing escrow relationships, collaborating with RERA and other regulators, and coordinating with CIBG Marketing, TOD, Operations and TSD to meet financial and non-financial targets. You will identify target markets, execute the REF marketing plan, and cultivate ties with local and international developers to originate business while ensuring credit facilities align with policy to maximize earnings and contain risk. Strong leadership of the TMD and CSU teams, cross functional collaboration, and ongoing market and regulatory awareness are essential. Maintain existing relationships, and solicit acceptable new Escrow relationships, to achieve pre-set financial/non-financial objective.
Close working relationship with RERA and other Emirates Regulators.
Internal: CIBG Marketing, TOD. Operations and TSD.
- Identify and segment target market, develop new business to broaden the portfolio, and implement the annual marketing plan for the (REF) Division.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in key Local/Regional/International Developers, to originate business to meet financial targets.
- Introduce MB as a player and cross sell their products.
- Review the existing portfolio in a timely manner, establish appropriate account plan, and recommend appropriate credit facilities to REF in line with the bank’s credit policy to maximize earnings while containing risk to an acceptable level,
- Review and initiate policy changes in line with the regulations, as necessary, to suit evolving business conditions.
- Manage the day to day tasks of the TMD, and train, develop, motivate and evaluate the CSU team.
- Co-ordinate with concerned Groups and Divisions to ensure timely and efficient delivery of required services and solutions to clients.
- Keep up-to-date with the Market, Regulatory, Competitive Environment and Industry

- Complete knowledge and clear understanding of the bank’s credit policy and operating systems.
- Strong legal knowledge and marketing skills mandatory.
- Thorough awareness of various financial products/services and knowledge of the local/regional/international markets.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to perform as a team player.
- Proven leadership qualities are an imperative, together with strong inter-personal and communication skills.
