As a Remote Control Operator (RCO), your primary responsibility will be to shunt trains and move wagons to and from customer sidings. You may at times also be required to act as Rail Operator. You will remain alert and vigilant to carry out the role in a safe and timely manner in accordance with rail operating procedures. When carrying out train inspection duties, you will ensure that all vehicles comprising the train are in a fit state to commence the journey and meet all health, safety, and rail operating requirements.
