POSITION SUMMARY

The Remote Patient Access Insurance Specialist is a non-patient facing role that works remotely or located in a call-center environment. The registrar is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support by managing patient registration, insurance verification, and completing Admissions/ Registrations remotely. The role includes ensuring patients have accurate and up-to-date information while coordinating effectively with healthcare teams and patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required. * Associate's degree Preferred
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Healthcare Financial Management Association - HFMA (CRCR) Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
EXPERIENCE:
1--3-year experience in healthcare registration or Insurance experience related positions * Previous experience in a physicians' office or hospital setting is preferred
