Job Description

The Reporting and Automation team sits at the heart of the Intellihub NZ business, partnering across the organisation to turn data into insight and manual processes into smart automation. We help teams understand what’s driving performance and simplify how work gets done so the business can operate more efficiently and make better, faster decisions. With multiple workstreams and competing priorities, no two days are the same.

As the Reporting and Automation Manager, you’ll lead a high‑performing team to deliver advanced data analysis, impactful reporting, and scalable automation that supports Intellihub’s strategic goals. You’ll own the end‑to‑end evolution of our reporting and automation capability shaping frameworks, strengthening data governance, and driving best‑practice modelling and visualisation.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll balance strategy with delivery, respond to emerging business needs, and continuously improve how data and automation enable the organisation to perform at its best.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline 
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Platforms is essential
  • Demonstrable experience working with a variety of data sources including AWS
  • Proven experience in leading reporting or automation teams
  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in identifying trends and insights from large data sets
  • Strong capability in data visualisation to enable simple and meaningful presentation of data
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills to influence at all levels 
  • Strong stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with a wide variety of people and organisational levels
  • High customer service focus with a pro-active approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work autonomously while driving team performance
