Leicestershire County Council is hiring two Research & Insight Officers to support SEND and Inclusion within a busy Business Intelligence service. Based at County Hall in Leicestershire, these one year fixed term roles (with potential extension) offer 37 hours per week, onsite, and a salary of £32,070 to £39,165 per annum (pro rata for part time). You will work with the Business Partner and Research & Insight Manager to provide BI support to Children and Family Services, covering SENA, Specialist Teaching Services, Early Years and Educational Psychology. Expect tests on managing and visualising large data sets; proficiency in data extraction, joins and dashboards with Tableau or Power BI is advantageous. Essential: degree or equivalent, strong IT and communication skills, attention to detail, team and independent working. About the Role:
These two roles will work closely with the Business Partner and Research and Insight Manager responsible for providing Business Intelligence support to the Children and Family Services Department for the Education, Inclusion and Additional Needs services. Specific services you will likely support may include the SENA (Special Educational Needs Assessment) Service, STS (Specialist Teaching Services such as visual and hearing impairment and autism), Early Years, Educational Psychology Services and other high needs related services.
As part of the recruitment process there will be a variety of tests to ensure you have the ability to manage and visualise data from large and complex data sets held within case management systems and Business Intelligence schemas.
