Meta's Research Scientist Intern role in 3D Computer Vision and Generative AI is an 18 to 24 weeks onsite internship with the XR Spatial AI Research team in Zurich. Meta Reality Labs focuses on delivering Meta's vision through Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). The XR Spatial AI Research team within the Reality Labs org brings together a world class team of researchers and engineers working on a wide range of problems in 3D Computer Vision, Generative AI and Agentic AI for AR and VR. We are seeking exceptional interns with a background in Agentic AI to join our team. We are specifically looking for candidates to work in areas such as Vision Language Models, Agentic AI, Learning from Demonstration and Representation Learning. Our internships are eighteen (18) to twenty-four (24) weeks long.

Responsibilities
Research and develop new agentic methods for Spatial AI that leverage multiple LLMs/VLMs to answer natural language spatial queries
* Present the outcomes of research findings as papers in top tier conferences in the area of CV and Machine Learning
* Collaborate with and support other researchers across various disciplines

Qualifications
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
* 2+ years of research experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI or Visual Language Models
* Programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch
* Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship
* Proven track record in publishing papers in Machine Learning and/or Computer Vision conferences including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, AAAI, ICLR, CoRL, RSS
* Interpersonal experience: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
