The Resident Engineer will lead the site supervision team and act as the Engineer’s representative, ensuring that all infrastructure works are executed in accordance with contract requirements, approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Client, Contractor, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor progress against approved programmes and report project performance.
- Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and inspection requests.
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations, project specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Lead site meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary supervision teams including civil, utilities, QA/QC, and HSE personnel.
- Review contractor claims, variations, and technical queries.
- Ensure project handover documentation and closeout activities are completed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction supervision.
- Minimum 5 years as Resident Engineer on large-scale infrastructure or mixed-use developments.
- Strong experience in roads, utilities, wet and dry services, and public realm projects.
- UAE/GCC experience is mandatory.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
